Join My Research Group

I expect my students to be highly self-motivated and ambitious independent thinkers. They must also be open-minded to opposing viewpoints, with the ability to collaborate. Unlike many labs, I do not dictate specific projects on which to work, but encourage students to develop their own, based on their own interests. One unique strength of my research group is our geographical diversity and on-the-ground connection to communities in which we do research.

If you are interested in joining my group as a graduate student, please closely read our current and past research. After that, contact me via email. Please include your CV, a very brief statement of your research interests, and the main social scientific contribution you’d like to make during your graduate career.
